Birgit and Friedrich Wegener, hotel business economists at the Hotelfachschule Heidelberg, have been successfully running the Hotel Möhringer Hof since 1998 with much valuable professional experience.

Our house with 35 high-quality, modern and with much love to the detail furnished hotel rooms was opened 1997 with first 24 units and extended in the year 2002 on the current capacity generously. For our long-term guests who need a temporary home in Stuttgart, our 9 fully furnished and very comfortable apartments are available.

In 2003 our hotel – along with 3 other hotels and restaurants on the Filder – was personally awarded the label “unhindered together” by Minister of State Dr. Palmer for exemplary service for people with disabilities. Not only the structural conditions (our spacious handicapped accessible room), but especially the obliging, helpful and respectful treatment of the handicapped and of course unhandicapped guests were very important for the jury in this nationwide competition.
